Our Team

Heather brings 25 years of corporate strategy to the table, but her heart lives in the Arts. We won't spoil the story, but instead of majoring in musical theatre, Heather spent the majority of her career in sales and strategic growth working for Hilton, AT&T, and Upwork, focusing on tech startups the last 10 years, including conceptualizing and building Stage & Set to a $1M valuation before Covid brought the things to a halt; giving her time to reset, recharge, and enjoy the last two years of high school for her daughter.

The B Scene comes to you after a Google image search turned up zero results for a product she saw on screen. Mix that with a healthy dose of theatre nerd and small biz champion and here we are!

Heather was a 2013 Twenty Under Forty, member of Greater Louisville Outstanding Women, and mentor for the Entrepreneurship Academy with Indiana and Purdue Universities. She currently serves on the board of Women in Film KY and is a member of The WO Network: Women Leaders of Louisville.

Kevin brings more than 15 years of experience as a founder, operator, and corporate employee to the table, having worked on a range of projects including more than a decade of experience managing remote team members stationed across international time zones in corporate and startup environments. 

Kevin's wide-ranging skillset and high energy give him the ability to work above the board to take a look at opportunities from multiple angles and really thrives when he rolls up his sleeves and turn challenges into potential. He abhors pessimism and dinosaur thinking, ready to create the future now. 

Kevin loves getting shit done and spreads fire and you will likely find him in Louisville's dynamic and bustling start up scene as a team member of StartUp Grind and StartUp Weekend Louisville.

Katherine, or KG as most know her, is a 2023 graduate of Louisville Collegiate School and a Governor's School for the Arts Musical Theatre alum. After spending her freshman year of university at Institute of the Arts Barcelona as a Musical Theatre with a dance emphasis major, KG decided to pick up where Covid left off- pursing a career on screen. 

When she is not on a set, whether in front of the camera or behind it, you will find KG in a dance class, sewing something fashionable, or her meeting and greeting all The B Scene members, learning about their businesses, and sharing their stories on social media. 

You may have seen KG perform around town with StageOne Family Theatre, Redline Performing Arts, or Oldham County Performance Troupe.

Kevin, our resident branding guru, is a Louisville-area native. He began his career locally in the marketing and communication world before relocating to Los Angeles to start his brand marketing communication firm Carry On Communication, Inc. Over the course of 12 years, operating the award-winning firm with offices in LA, NY, DC and Chicago, Kevin and his team built a family of communication companies to encompass a network of branding, public relations and marketing entities and services that scaled the largest and most significant markets across the U.S.  Named the Number One Boutique Agency in the country by industry analyst Paul Holmes and The Holmes Report, and twice recognized as The Best Agency to Work For in the U.S., together, these businesses provided a fully integrated approach that addressed the many challenges a company encounters in the business and brand development process.  

Kevin currently serves as Founder, President & CEO of Belle Noble Entertainment Group, LLC, a restaurant and bar holding company located in Louisville, Kentucky.   He continues to participate in brand consulting assignments and serves on a variety of for- and non-profit boards and committees.

Eric boasts over 28 years as a talent representative. At the age of 23, was made an agent in NYC and by 25, was running the theatrical department of a boutique agency. Over the 14 years he was an agent, Eric worked in NYC and LA, spending 9 years at Abrams Artist Agency guiding careers in Film, Television. and the Broadway Stage.

In 2011, Eric ventured out to start his own management and production company; Emery Entertainment, continuing to represent established actors and writers, but branching into producing. Eric helped create and was Co-Executive Producer on the Facebook and CBS Interactive show; Off the Block with Ross and Marissa. He has also produced the YouTube webseries Manifesting Destiny and short film, The Dinner Party, an official selection at The Berlin Short Film Festival and the Mammoth Film Festival. In the theatre space, Eric produced two critically acclaimed theatre productions; Cleo, Theo, & Wu and Mess! for the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Eric served four years as Board President for one of the longest running theatres in Hollywood, Theatre of Note, and is an adjunct professor at his alma mater, Ball State University, where he gives masterclasses and co-teaches a spring semester class he created; The L.A. Experience.

 Miguel is the dynamic force behind a fusion of creativity and entrepreneurship, a trailblazing visionary who seamlessly navigates the realms of photography, marketing wizardry, and facilitation expertise. As a published photographer and versatile business maven, Miguel not only captures moments through his lens but also transforms businesses with his diverse managerial prowess. From coaching and project management to event development, photography, video production, and beyond, Miguel's multifaceted skills elevate both his clients and enterprises to unprecedented heights. 

Miguel brought an artistic co-working space, The Ink Spot, to Uptown New Albany, IN which has some exciting changes coming up! If he isn't there, you can find Miguel hosting a variety of engaging events and shows including the Juneteenth Block Party in the NoCo Arts neighborhood in Jeffersonville, IN, Common Conversations, and Let's Talk About Sex. All of which bring important, often dismissed topics, to the forefront. Miguel's work in his community is truly inspiring!
